Jeff Adams has been inspecting homes for real estate transactions for 20+ yrs, he has a strong Electrical background & experience as well in the HVAC Industry, Plumbing Industry. Jeff also extensive knowledge and experience in the residential & commercial construction fields. He has been in the Commercial Steel Fabrication business for over 18 yrs and has worked on large scale commercial buildings through out the city of San Antonio and surrounding areas, as well as residential/home building across South Central Texas.
Mr Adams holds a Professional Home Inspector license, #3813, a Certified Pest Control Applicator license, as well as several other certifications and licenses to Post Tension Cable Foundations, Infrared Thermography, Septic Systems and Water Wells. Mr Adams has taught building science and inspection related classes as Adjunct Faculty for San Antonio College (SAC). He has also built custom homes and has worked as a consultant and expert for other custom home builders in South Central Texas. With 2-3 yrs experience as an construction Arbitrator and Mediator for construction defects Mr Adams has been court certified as an expert witness in construction defect litigation.
Experience
Jeff Adams has been inspecting properties and has worked on large scale commercial buildings through out the city of San Antonio and surrounding areas, as well as South Central Texas. Mr Adams has inspected properties for the FAA, TxDOT, the City of San Antonio, Poth, Floresville, City of Garden Ridge, Terrell County, Poth Independent School District, Falls City Independent School District as well as others.
Mr. Adams has home building experience with Adams Custom Homes as well as property repair/rehab construction, design & estimating experience. Mr. Adams has over 20 years of court room experience to include being an Arbitrator as well as a Mediator and has had some of his cases argued all the way at the supreme court level.
Jeff has experience as an investigator to include retaining wall failure, structure failures and fire and death cases, he has testified before City Councils, different commissioners courts, legislatures along with numerous Court Cases. Mr. Adams has experience in the education field and is adjunct faculty teaching classes for San Antonio College as well as the 1st Green Building Courses in San Antonio conducted in conjunction with Texas A&M University. His expertise is vase in the construction fields.

Jeff Adams work experience has included the construction on such projects to include Wal-Mart’s, Phar-Mor Drug Stores, Burlington Coat Factory, Stein Mart, Goodwill Industries, Cross Roads Mall, River Center Mall, Rolling Oaks Mall, San Antonio Marriott, Motel 6, as well projects at local Military Bases.
These projects were conducted at Randolph Air Force Base, Kelley Air Force Base, Fort Sam Houston, Brook Air Force Base and others. Jeff Adams has conducted inspections for the city of Floresville, conducts C-of-O inspections in Falls City and Poth. He has inspected construction projects for the Poth and Falls City Independent School District and has conducted inspections for insurance companies to include USAA, Farmers, Nation Wide, State farm and others.
Jeff Adams has worked as an expert and problem solver on fire investigation cases, retaining wall failures, commercial building failures, home failures and others. Such Projects include the retaining wall collapse at The Hills of Rivermist, structural failure of buildings at South Padre for the McAllen Trust and Broadway Bank. He has worked as an expert for such companies as Les Miller Discovery Custom Homes, Pulte Homes, United Built Homes and others.
Mr. Adams has worked with numerous law firms that turn to him as a construction expert. Such firms as Kustoff & Phips, Ken Grubs, Brian Woods, Jeff Dahl, Nina Petro, Amanda James, Sylvan Lang and many others. Jeff Adams has been certified as a construction expert in court and has had his inspection reports used by the Texas Supreme Court in their decision making.
